You definitely can record live shows but I have not seen a way to set a recording for streamed content. In reality, I doubt that any device is set to do that as steaming is meant to be on-demand so scheduling seems counter to how steaming content is invoked. I just tested Netflix to see if you could record some content as it is streamed and it does not support this. I have not tried other streaming services but I fully expect that they will not be supported either. The device does let you do a search across all service content to find shows and allow on-demad streaming of that content if you have the proper subscription. Hope that helps.

The streaming part of it simply means that it can connect to services like Netflix amd Amazon Prime so you can stream with the Bolt instead of another device like a Fire Tv Stick
