“I'm interested in using a streaming service like directv now. Will this record shows since they don't offer a dvr service”

• tivo does not have the directv now app so no you cant record directv now using tivo , But i'm pretty sure directvnow is going to have their own cloud dvr soon! tivo can only record cable tv channels from your cable provider,or from over the air with an antenna,just make sure you order the correct tivo for your needs.

• I just left directv because the my bill was getting to big, and i had a dvr recorder through them.
