Case has two magnetic strips on the cover flap that will allow you to rest the tablet horizontally at two different angles of your choosing. I don’t have a protractor to measure the angle but two distinct viewing angles. As for vertically, yeah. You could stand the case vertically but aesthetically speaking, it’s not pleasing to the eye. Doable but not pretty, at least to me.
