• No, this particular phone is not unlocked. It's specifically for the Boost Mobile network and customers. Now, I don't know much about unlocking phones but based on what I've seen/heard you can almost unlock any phone. Go online and find a "How To" tutorial. Hope this helps!

• No. It is locked to Boost Mobile network. You will have to call boost mobile or google the requirements to getting the phone unlocked. You have to have or use the phone on a carrier's network for a certain amount of time to meet Unlock requirements. Then you are able to use your phone on another network, mainly CDMA network carriers.So, its easier to call for the unlock requirements, to cut out confusion.
