Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The phone doesn't break up the texts - how THE SENDER HAS THEIR SETTINGS SET UP, as well as how YOU set up your texts is what breaks up the texts. Go into text settings and check one long text (or something familiar - it differs from dift manufacturers) AND I saw someone answered this question wrongly too - texts don't have a 160 character limit - that varies too, that's ONE WAY you'll get many texts, even if you set up your phone for one long text there's a limit before it sends as an added text - BUT set up for one long text MOST ALWAYS is enough for a very detailed, long text.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes if someone sends a long text, it will cause it to show up in multiple texts because carriers can only send 160 characters at one time.
