“I keep seeing this statement: "factory unlocked ". What does this mean and what is the difference between "locked" and "unlocked"?”

• Locked means u can only use the carrier assigned to the phone and unlocked means u can use the provider u choose.

• The difference between locked and unlocked phone is locked phone is tied to a carrier, while an unlock phone can be brought to any carrier.
