How is the storage on this phone? I currently have an S5 and I have to manually send my apps to my SD card, which only frees up minimal space and so I'm wondering if the J3 does the same thing. I don't have many apps but it seems that 16GB gets taken up rather quickly.

I have the same issue on my J3... I have to manually select what apps go the the external card and then only a minimal portion of the app actually goes there... Its great for movies and music on the SD card however for apps its just not efficient enough

Yes, you have to manually send the apps to the SD card. The nice thing is that it shows you which apps can go on the SD card so you don't have to test each app. Also, anytime apps update you'll have to send the apps to the SD card again. Just check periodically to see if they are still on the SD card. I haven't seen a phone where you don't have to do this. Clear the cash often & multiple times until you see kilobytes instead of megabytes. I have a lot of apps on my phone & I still have 8 gigs of free space left.
