- Answer Regrettably No. GSM for AT&T and T-Mobile towers, CDMA for Sprint/Verizon towers. Some phones will not transfer to other vendors such as the J3 which is locked on the Sprint towers.

- Answer I did mine, kind of automatically. Just followed directions and it got done. There is an app on the phone too think it is called side by side or something like that for moving your stuff between samsung phones. I did not need to use it
