• It has 8 gigs of internal storage, and you can put an additional SD card up to 32 Gig if you take a lot of pictures, but more important than the storage is to make sure you transfer your pictures to your google account or to a computer in case you lose the phone..

• a little over 2 G as most of the advertised space is taken up by Google's apps which YOU must not delete or the phone goes wonky! But they do warn you if you go into the settings to delete some of the stuff you don't want.
