• I don't know about other parts of the country but this phone will not work in the Southern part of California, as say in the San Bernardino Mt. range.

• yes Boost plan uses different carriers throught the USA.

• Probably not, this is a Boost CDMA phone, you need an Unlocked GSM phone for international use in most countries.
