Hi there. Thank you for your question. Bosch is known for being the quietest dishwasher brand. 50 dBA is quiet, however we do have models as low as 40 dBA if you are looking for a dishwasher that is very quiet.

Yes there are dishwashers with lower decibel ratings, but they are quite expensive. I am sitting about 4 ft away from mine right now and if the cycle ligts were not on I would not know it is running.
