Where does this dishwasher vent? Is it a vent that’s under your counter? Has that led to warping of your counter I thought initially that it might vent from the front. Any issues with this? null

Tubing on side I’d dishwasher vents the air

Hi Barbara, thank you for your question and interest in Model:SHE3AR72UC. This Dishwasher uses  PureDry. PureDry is condensation drying which is more hygienic than conventional vented air drying, since vents often pull in dirty air from the floor, in front of or behind the dishwasher. Hot water, up to 162 degrees throughout the wash and rinse cycles heats the dishes. Hot dishes and remnant heat in the tub causes water droplets to turn to steam and evaporate. Water vapor (steam) condenses on the cool stainless steel tub walls, then rinses down the drain. Condensation occurs when the moist air in the dishwasher comes into contact with the cooler stainless steel tub, and turns into water droplets. These water droplets trickle down to the bottom of the dishwashers and are drained. Since it’s a closed system with no fan, the cleaning process is more sanitary.
With no exposed heating element, plastic utensils and dishes placed on the lower rack will not melt. 
The use of rinse agents, such as Jet Dry®, aids the condensation drying process by reducing the surface tension of water. This in turn allows the water on your dishware surfaces to run off more freely, so they dry better.
