Unlike many machines the hoses run from the front of the machine to the rear of the machine under its main body. Honestly you don't want to reuse old hoses. I know it seems like you are saving money but there are 2 major factors. First old water lines and drain lines fail over time. You will most likely run your dishwasher at night or when you are going out and if the line breaks it can be catastrophic to your home as water surges until you wake up or return. Second you want a clean drain line as over time they collect grease buildup amongst other things which can in turn reduce water discharge flow and operation. Spend the $40 for new hoses, the alternative will cost thousands and even tens of thousands depending on what happens. IF you are not handy have the installers do it for you. They do it over and over again on a daily basis.
