Hi CPJ. Thank you for your question. When the doors on the Bosch Dishwasher are open 20% they will close on their own. If you open just a bit more than that it will stay open for you. However, Model:SHP88PZ55N features our Crystal Dry Option, which will dry your dishes 60% better.
