QuestionWhat the procedure for removing the knife shelf attached to the left side of the upper rack without damaging it? And, what's the procedure for re-installing it?

- Answer Hi CalGuy, thanks for your question. The knife shelf clips/rests over to the upper rack, so carefully unclip it to remove it.

- Answer Hi there, thank you for your question and interest in Model:SGE53B55UC. One of the main differences is the height. The ADA Compliant model is 32 1/16" in height. The other 300 Series models are 33 7/8" in height. The ADA model holds 14 place settings, has an internal water softener, 24/7 AquaStop Plus, RackMatic, 4 cycles/4 options, a favorite cycle, a machine care option, a remote start option, is 46 dBA and has Home Connect. The 300 Series has 5 cycles/4 options, 24/7 AquaStop, RackMatic, standard 3rd rack, 44 dBA, holds 16 place settings and has an Extra Dry option.

QuestionAfter reading reviews im confused as Bosch did not answer the concern that the description says 3rd rack but some of the people say the ADA does not come with a third rack. Does this dishwasher come with a third rack as advertised or not?

QuestionI find that there is a lot of water inside the unit and on the dishes after the cycle is complete. Tried it numerous times, different cycles, and with the extra dry cycle. Is this a defect? Never experienced this prior in other Brand dishwashers.

- Answer Hi tj2021, thanks for your question. Model SGE53B55UC is ADA compliant and does not have a heating element. This dishwasher is designed to dry using the PureDry® condensation drying system. This is an energy-efficient, closed-drying system that does not pull in outside air or use an exposed heating element. The PureDry® condensation process works by heating the dishes with hot water during the final rinse. The cooler stainless steel tub pulls moisture from the dishes. The inside of the unit will be wet at the end of the cycle, but the dishes will be dry.
