Hi JohnP. Thank you for your question. Yes, the capacities are compatible. The 300 Series Dryer pairs with our 2.2 cu. Ft. washer. Your washer will plug into your new dryer, which includes a 4-prong plug that can be switch to a 3-prong plug. Instructions for switching the plugs can be found in the Installation Guide.
