• Hi Tippy, thank you for your question. Given the fact that you may have limited clearance where the water hookup is, we recommend the use of a 90 degree elbow connection. Thank you!

• It is not necessary but if you need to change the direction from the water valve you can use it. this is quietest dish washer I have ever seen. You have to place your ear close to the door to hear if its on.
