“Hi Is this dishwasher designed to be flush with the cabinets or should it stick out an 1 “ or so? I read that steam from the dishwasher could get into the cabinets during drying if it is flush with the cabinets. Thanks”

I’m not an expert but a user of this dishwasher. I have this model for many years and never had a problem. May be there are some defective units causing this damage to the cabinets but I’ve never heard of this before. Accordingly it shouldn’t be sticking out from the cabinets.
