“What size is the connection on the water inlet hose to the house. It appears to be close to 1/4 but 1/4 does not quite work? This is the line for hooking water up the fridge for dispensing”

It is a standard 1/4” water line connection. The min water pressure is 0.2MPa (2 bar / 29 psi) and the max water pressure is 0.8MPa (8 bar / 116 psi).
