This model does come with the recessed handle. The third letter in the long serial number is a 'P' instead of an 'X'. So 'P' = no handle. 'X' = handle. Identical in all other features.

Not this model, but close to it. It's model #SHEM78WH5N, a little quieter, seems like the same interior and the recessed handle. Controls still on top of the door.
