Yes. I originally wanted another brand, (KitchenAid) but our openings were only 32 1/2, so this was one of very few models that would fit. This model fits in the 32 1/2 inch opening, so you should have no problem with 33 1/2".
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I also had an outside height opening of 33 1/2", due to the bull nose tile on the outer edges of my counter top. This model # SGX68UC/DS came as low as 33 1/2 " in height. However the inside of our opening height was 34 1/2". The Bosch slid right in and from there, following the installation instr., we were able to adjust it to go higher, as it was set at the lowest level of 33 1/2 ", which was very easy. The installation instructions were very good. Once it was slid inside, one could then level and raise it, all done from the front two legs and a separate front screw when turned, would either raise or lower the back end. There was another model with the controls on the front (mine had no controls on the front, only a handle) which also could be adjusted in this way. 1/23/2019.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.My opening is also 33.5" and it fits but I would have Best Buy confirm that and let them be responsible if it doesn't fit. I was told that the only units that will fit must be ADA Compliant. This unit is. There are not many choices.
