“Is the top rack (for silverware) removable? Seems like many of the reviews indicate that this rack can get in the way of tall and/or wine glasses. Can I remove it and not use it?”

Jeff Yes you can remove the cutlery drawer or lower the upper rack. Upper rack can be adjusted in 3 height positions.

Have found that the three adjustable heights of the glassware rack is adequate most of the time. ADA - dishwasher does not come with other silverware options so upper rack is required for utensils and we have found that it cleans very well. No complaints.
