QuestionDuring the initial wash, does the unit heat the water as well as recirculate it? Or does it rely solely on the heat from the hot water supply? What about the second wash?

- Answer Hi Jase, thank you for your question. All Bosch Dishwashers have a Flow Through Water Heater. The Bosch dishwashers' flow-through water heater is confined, preventing its coils from damaging household items and ensuring water is heated more thoroughly. While traditional dishwashers only heat portions of the water that lands onto the coils, Bosch dishwashers heat 100 percent of the water that passes through its heating chamber between tightly spaced coils. The heaters can raise water temperature as high as 162 degrees Fahrenheit.

Here are the parts you will need for installation for Model:SGX68U55UC: Hot Water Supply Line - Minimum 3/8″ O.D. copper tubing or metal braided dishwasher supply line. Shut-off valve and fittings appropriate for hot water supply line (copper tubing/compression fitting, or braided hose). - Answer Hi coyote, thank you for your question. Model:SGX68U55UC does not have the AutoAir Option. Model: SHXM65Z55N does have the AutoAir Option, that when chosen will automatically open the door when the interior cools to 118 degrees F.

It also has a water softener, button controls, 44 dBA and PureDry. The SHXM78Z55N is 33.88" in height with a maximum height of 35.06". It is 42 dBA, has touch controls and our new Crystal Dry, which will dry your dishes 60% better.
