“Is there a heater inside of this dishwasher or does it rely on stale air to dry the dishes?”

• It has a heating element for the water, but it uses condensation drying like other Bosch dishwashers. I own this model. It gets everything almost completely dry except for plastics that have areas where water can collect on them.

• There is a heater, and although there is some water remaining on plastic surfaces, if you open the door at the end of the cycle, almost all water evaporates, so my plastic ware is as dry as the rest!
