“We purchased this dishwasher recently from Best Buy. During our first runs, it melted plastic straws and shattered plastic plates. The sanitize function is NOT on, but when it completes every cycle, it still says "Sanitized". Anyone else with this issue?”

• Do you have the "extra dry" setting on. This may be causing the problem.

• I've not had this issue. I've put plastic in both the bottom and middle rack.
