You are correct. This design is for buyers who want the dishwasher to "blend in" with the existing cabinetry. Therefore you will need a front panel the matches your cabinetry--including the hardware. I suggest a wide handle rather than a knob-type drawer pull. If you want a "normal" dishwasher look, order a different model.

Hi Anteek. Thank you for your question. The Custom Panel Dishwasher is designed to allow you to match your kitchen cabinets or design your own panel for the dishwasher. It does come without a panel front.
