Our 24/7 AquaStop® leak protection system contains leaks through a precisely engineered tub and sensor system that works with our solid molded base. If a leak has occurred, it shuts down operation and automatically pumps out water to avoid contact with the floor.

QuestionIs the recessed pocket handle just a physical handle, meaning there's not recessed button/mechanical latch?

- Answer Correct - it is just a recessed opening - no latches or buttons to push. All of the controls are on the top panel. I recently purchased this one after having a Bosch with a handle. I didn't think I would like the recessed handle as much, but it really gives it a sleeker built in look.

- Answer There is a kit to attach the panel but you need the panel. You can go to your cabinet maker or Lowes or Home Depot to get the panel too. I go mine there but that said the panel is another 150 to 1000 so i think you are better off getting the stainless panel. If i was to do it again i would. Don't get me wrong i love the look of the one with the cabinet but i am not sure its worth the expense and time. The goo thing is if you ever have to replace the dishwasher you can reuse the panel in most cases.

- Answer Yes. The basket is removable. You can also take out the very top try which would be used for silverware as well.

- Answer "Sanitize" is one of the options you can select. According to the manual, it "increases cycle length and temperature for disinfection." I have never used this setting. I always run my dishwasher on Speed 60 and Crystal Dry. My dishes are always rinsed off before loading. I'm very happy with this dishwasher.

- Answer Measure the cabinet face you have.Then consult the specs for the NEW dishwasher "Panel size" to see if they match. I have had 3 "panel ready" dishwashers in my kitchen and no problem switching the panel from the old on to the new one. The only caveat is that the panel needs to be well-made.

- Answer The specs for the new dishwasher will tell you the size. It is probably a standard size for compatibility between brands. My best advice is to have the panel made by an experienced cabinetmaker to match your existing cabinetry. If you are a skilled woodworker, you might do it yourself but otherwise let a pro do it. If done right, you will love the look.

QuestionHow do do I stand up the moveable line of tines in the top rack of the dishwasher? I can’t get it to clip in to the stationary rack . I’m not talking about adjusting the top rack. A video would be helpful.
