It absolutely is usable, however difficult to open & close if fully mounted in without the front panel providing a handle. If you need to use it before completed better to have it sit a little forward and out from under cabinet. Also, the door is designed for the weight of the cabinet to counter the resistance, so without it, the door will want to pull up and close WAY more aggressively than normal. Also, for the fit to work proper we had to remake cabinet plate to 29x23 3/4.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The dishwasher will be "unsightly" but still usable. The front panel is cosmetic. You could order a different model with the usual dishwasher look if you don't want a custom panel.
