“The BestBuy.com site says, "Installation requirements: A dishwasher water connection kit is required for installation." Please explain what this means. We do have a wall outlet to plug the dishwasher into. Do we need to purchase something else?”

when we purchased the dishwasher, the sales person at Best Buy put together an order for us that did include an installation part, its called the smart choice universal 6' deluxe dishwasher install kit. Hope that answers your question.

To install this dishwasher, you'll need the following: hot water supply line - Minimum 3/8″ O.D. copper tubing or metal braided dishwasher supply line and shut-off valve and fittings appropriate for hot water supply line (copper tubing/compression fitting, or braided hose). You can find the complete list of tools and materials needed for installation on page 5 of the Installation Manual. This is available to download on Bosch's website.
