• Hi Dude123, thanks for your interest in model NIT8060UC. This model cannot be wired to a 40 amp 240V circuit. The electrical rating provided is the maximum. Per the spec sheet, the volts can range from 208-240V and only 30 A.

• 30A circuit is minimum required. Installing on a 40A circuit would likely be pointless if the induction controller limits max current.
