QuestionWhat is the raised bar across the back? My current slide in range simply overlaps the countertop cutout at the back like the sides and nothing sticks up. Is it necessary/removable? I have about a two inch piece of quartz countertop behind it.

QuestionAnyone happen to know what the differences are between the new 57 series vs the old 56? Looking at the specs here and on the official Bosch website shows minor if any differences. This is true for both the 800 and the Benchmark series.
