“Is it correct that if my counter top height is 35.5" that I will have to have someone cut my granite at an angle at either side in order to allow the "ears" of the range to slide over the counter top? My cut out width is 30". The range is 36.5" high!”

Hi Valerie. Thank you for your question. The Slide-in Range is designed to slide over your countertop and to prevent food and liquids from falling between the range and cabinets. Here are the dimensions for the range. Overall appliance dimensions: 6 1/2"–37" H x 31 1/2" W x 29 3/16" D. Required cutout size:35 1/2"–37" H x 30" W x 25 1/4" D. Adjustable range height: 1 1/2".

Please try again later.I don’t think you’d have to cut your granite, it’s made to slide over the top of the granite on the sides of the range to keep food from falling between the range and the cabinets. Mine slid right over the top. Go to a Pacific Sales store, Best Buy owns them and they’re very helpful with appliances and all the details of the measurements.
