Yes, if you hook them through an amplifier. We use them exclusively with our computer through amplifier. They sound great.

Then you could connect your computer into this receiver or amplifier using the audio output connection from your computer. One method to make this connection would be to plug a 3.5mm stereo male connector into the headphone output of your computer and then the other end of the cable would be a dual male RCA connector that can be plugged into an available input on the back of the receiver or amplifier. Thank you for the question!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. All speakers are compatible with a computer. All speakers require some kind of amplifier. Bose 201 speakers do not have an internal amplifier. You wouldn't connect Bose 201 speakers directly to your computer, you would connect an external amplifier to your computer and connect the Bose 201 speakers to the amplifier. One Bose 201 speaker is probably larger than your computer, and you need two speakers for stereo. A decent amplifier is probably larger than your computer. If you have the space for the amplifier and the two speakers, there is nothing that would stop you from using Bose 201 speakers for a computer. But, for a computer, you would probably prefer small speakers with an internal amplifier. I prefer headphones. Good around-the-ear headphones have better bass and overall sound quality than tiny computer speakers, are smaller than speakers, and don't require a power connection for an internal amplifier.
