“are the Bose 201 compatable with pioneer VSX-917V receiver?”

• Thank you for your inquiry. The 201 V speakers are compatible with any amplifier/receiver that provides 10-120 W per channel, 8 ohms. After reviewing some available specifications on this receiver, it seems it should be perfectly compatible. But, we always recommend checking with the receiver manufacturer to be sure the receiver will meet the required specifications for the speakers, before purchasing. We hope this helps!
