“With Bose 201 v series can I use my existing subwoofer or is the built in woofer enough for a surround sound system?”

Hello! The 201 and 301 speakers are designed to work with a variety of stereo receivers and amplifiers as either front or rear channel speakers. Whilst we don't know exactly what subwoofer you're referring to here, as long as this is connected to your receiver/amplifier this should correctly act as the bass module in this system. The bass should be full and natural from the speakers themselves, but are not aimed at being the sole source of bass in a setup.
