• To get the most from the Bose 301 speaker system, run them through a good quality amplifier ( or receiver ). You need the extra power that the TV alone can't provide, to make these speakers really ":sing".

• Our 301 Series V speakers must be connected to an amplifier or receiver. They are compatible with receivers rated between 10 – 150 watts per channel and 4 – 8 ohms. Thanks!

• Most tv's only have pre-amp outs so a receiver would be needed. If your tv has a headphone jack it would be possible but the sound quality would not be as high.
