It will mostly rattle the door. I placed it on the wooden floor on far corner of the room and its impact is felt all the way to the other end.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just bought mine, and I don't have it set up the way you suggest. But knowing sound as I do (I'm a musician), I could almost guarantee that it would rattle the door (my humble opinion). It would likely make the entire console vibrate, which might actually enhance the bass response. But anything loose on the console would likely rattle or even fall down/off, depending on what it is (pictures, knick-knacks, whatever) I would plan on setting it out in the open. They did do a nice job with the appearance.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would suggest in an opening, yes it will rattle the Glass
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The short answer is not to put behind glass doors, will rattle the glass. The low frequency bass this speaker puts out is non directional , the left and right speaker need to be in thier respective position . The low frequency waves radiate in all directions equally , so it can be hide out of site and will sound the same. Like under a end table or off to one side of the entertinmement center , definitely should set directly on the floor and if possible within several feet of a wall for best performance . The power cord length would be a good reference. This way the base reflects off the wall , which will enhance the sound !
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would have to yes. You can turn down the bass, but then what's the point.
