“If the subwoofer has minor water damage what is the warranty on it? I bought it 5 months ago and I'd hate to have to go buy another one.”

The warranty is one year parts and labor I don't know if they would cover water damage or not as it's not part of the subwoofer itself for the reason that its not working. If the water damage isn't visible, you may be able to get it repaired. Depending on the reason for the water damage, I would also look into your homeowners or rental insurance policy.
