“Can this be used with the power/charger plugged in full-time? I intend to use it with a TV and if possible would prefer to not have to worrying about remembering to turn it off or charge it.”

This adapter is designed to be plugged in at all times. If there is no audio playing and there has been no interaction with the system by the user, the system will turn off automatically after 20 minutes. Any incoming audio or system interaction within this period will prevent the system from turning itself off
