Thank you for reaching out for clarification. This adapter is designed to receive a Bluetooth signal from a smartphone/tablet for a speaker system as opposed to transmitting a Bluetooth signal. In additiona, we don't recommend using headphones connected wirelessly to a tv. There can be a delay between the audio and video which is very distracting. However, it does have a 3.5mm jack for a wired connection..
