QuestionIs there a way to disable A2DP?I want to leave the headset on/ready during the day, but prefer to not to have it in my ear all the time... unfortunately, the iPhone then sends all alerts and other OS sounds through the headset. The Jawbone Era lets you disbable A2DP... does the Bose?

- Answer Great question! The A2DP Bluetooth profile cannot be disabled on the Bose Bluetooth Headset 2. If you are paired to the headset and listening to music, you can switch the audio output in the lower right on the iPhone. If you don’t want audio to play through your headset, we would recommend turning off Bluetooth on the iPhone.

- Answer i don't see a mute button on the headset, so i would venture to think you would have to mute from the phone.

- Answer Setup different ring tones / text tones for the people you want to talk to and then the default so you can tell the differance. Ring tones come through headset so it's easy to tell a freind or coworker you want to talk to and all others can roll over to VM...

- Answer the main difference is the noise reduction, it's as good if not better than the jawbone's noise reduction technology... so if you talk outside or in a car with your windows down alot you will want to get the series 2

QuestionS, M, L Stayhear tips--But, no XL (extra large tips) available?My husband uses the Large Stayhear Tips in his headset, and they function "okay" for him... But he was wondering if Bose offers an extra-large Tip? Or, perhaps an adapter of some sort? He said at times, the headset feels too loose, and if a slightly larger Tip was available it would, no doubt, fit more snugly in his ear. Do any other users have this issue? If so, has anyone found a solution for the problem? Thanks.

- Answer I also use the large and at times I would like it to fit a bit tighter but I have never had it fall out in over two years of use. It is so comfortable that I have to check to see if I remembered to remove it before I step into the shower. I would welcome an XL size myself.

- Answer Since this unit does not produce a stereo signal the best you would hear would be a mono signal in each ear.
