The side-specific design optimizes the headset for whichever ear you would prefer and provides a better overall experience in voice quality, comfort and stability. Additionally, this headset supports the Bluetooth A2DP protocol allowing the headset functionality beyond communication in conversation. For example, you can listen to a smartphone's turn-by-turn directions, podcasts, music or other mobile media content. There have been improvements in the noise-rejecting microphone of the Bose Bluetooth Headset 2 which senses the user’s voice while rejecting background noise. This allows the person on the other end of the call to hear more of the user’s voice and less of the background noise around the user.
