I have used mine for the dual purpose of podcasts as well as phone calls for over 4 hours but never really timed it to see its limit. I am on the phone so much that I have a second Bose unit to use when my first one's battery is ready for charging.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think 4.5 is the time you will get out of it when it is on.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No maybe an hour or two. Battery runs down quicker when streaming.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use my Bose headset the same way as you describe. I can get 3.5-4 hours on a battery charge. A hassle sometimes, but good planning keeps me from being without it. (Have a car charger for it, too,)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The listed 4.5 hours of talk time is standard for active use of the headset. Streaming constant audio from any source (Music, audio books, etc.) would count as using "talk time" for the purpose of battery consumption. More intermittent sounds such as notifications and GPS directions will have less impact on the battery as the headset will mute to save power during long periods of silence. Hope this helps!
