“Why won't my iPhone 4S play music when I'm NOT on a call? I have the Bose Bluetooth Headset Series 2, and it works great, except for one thing. When I play music, the headset is not an audio option unless I'm on a call. This is the case even when using Siri to begin playing music. I'd love to use the headset, but without the music, it's a dealbreaker. I've done everything recommended by Bose, restarting phone and headset, re-pairing, making sure both are fully charged, and nothing works. Hope someone is able to help!”

I use the Bose Bluetooth Headset Series 2 with my Razr phone to listen to my music. It's not stereo, but works fine for me to hear my music. I can't speak for the IPhone, but on my Razr, I just have to ensure the bluetooth is checked in my settings.
