• Yes. I actually connected them to my HP tower. HP has color coded RCA plugins on the rear of the tower for sound equipment. There is also a USB port if you need it.

• I have a HP Pavilion and I plugged these speakers into the "green" audio out on the back of the HP tower. Works great.

• To connect these speakers to a desktop computer, you would connect the provided audio cable to the headphone jack (typically located on the front of the tower).
