Thanks for the question. The Companion 5 Multimedia Speaker System can be connected to an auxiliary device, such as your television, using the 3.5mm AUX input located on the control pod. As long as you television has a headphone jack or an analog audio out, then this should be able to work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It will work if you use a jack cable from your TV to Bose companion and if you just connect usb cable from companion to your tv or something else (otherwise that system refuse to deliver sound as far I experienced).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't think so. The input for this set is USB only. I have several HDTV's and none have a USB output for audio. The Companion 3 uses a mini phono jack that can be connected to a headphone jack, that should work. The 3's don't have quite the surround effect that the 5's have.
