“Bose Companion 5 going into standby every 5-10 minutes MY Bose system is 1 week old. i had connected TV and watched a movie uninterrupted without any issues. However, yesterday the Bose speakers started muting every 5-10 minutes and i had to touch the control pad every time to get them on. Any advise as to why this is happening and the solution.”

My system acted weird once. I unplugged it, plugged it back in, and I have not had a problem since.

Please try again later.Maybe aux cable isn't fully connected or possibly you have speaker cables loose and not fully connected another way is maybe the volume pad is loose. I have connected same way to TV and my ps4 it's amasing.i have no issues. If it doesn't work maybe whatever bluray player or game console you have the settings are set wrong.
