• Hello Abraham. Great question. The Companion 5 is meant for listening to music and other media from your computer, but you could use a microphone if your computer has a separate input for one. There is also a 3.5mm AUX input on the Control Pod that you could connect other devices to, including a microphone with a 3.5mm connection.

• You can use a mic, but it has to be a jack not USB.

• I have not tried this, but you may be able to connect the microphone into the right jack on the trackpad.
