The motherboards try to push too much bandwidth over the Bluetooth connection and the audio devices in general have the older Bluetooth chipsets to allow broader compatibility. A:AnswerWell it depends. The Bose is more neutral whereas the Beats are more bass forward. The Bose will have a nice thump but they won't have the same rumble and won't be as deep. The in store demos, while not always an indicator of how the product will work for you, does represent the bass capabilities of both fairly accurately so i suggest trying the in store demos.

A:AnswerThat's not true, you can use Bluetooth on these headphones without service. I use it on the airplane all the time. The assistant does need service though.
A:AnswerA valid concern. Bose earphone pads are replaceable but be aware that replacement pads are expensive and, having purchased to two sets in the past, have never seated and stayed attached like originals.
