Thank you for the question. There is not a industry standard for measuring active noise-cancellation. The Hearphones utilize both active and passive noise reduction technologies. They use a proprietary electronics approach to active noise reduction, placing microphones to measure noise both inside and outside the earbud. Each situation is unique.
